Altus Sistemas de Automação S/A, founded in 1982 in the course of graduate studies in Computer Science of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), is leader among the Brazilian companies using proprietary technology in the field of automation and industrial process control. Its area of expertise is focused on 2 business units, products and systems integration.  

In the unit of products, it offers a complete line of highly qualified equipment, developed with state-of-the-art technology, which includes Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Frequency Inverters, Power Multimeter and Power Supply. 

In the systems integration market, Altus is a benchmark in providing solutions for the sectors of Electric Energy, Oil & Gas and Transportation. It develops projects with recognized technology standard, which ensures efficiency and reliability to the customer.

The company is characterized by constant innovation in its products and services. It is continuously investing in research and development, maintains strategic partnerships, interaction with universities and research centers. 

Its head office is located in a Computer Science Center of São Leopoldo/RS, with Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos). Altus has branches in São Paulo, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Curitiba, Sapucaia do Sul and Porto Alegre.
