- Course of Electrical Engineering, specialization in electronics, at UFRGS, in 1977.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, at the Program of Graduate Studies in Computer Science (CPGCC) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in 1979.
Main professional activities:
- Founding member of Altus and current President of the Board of Directors.
- General Manager of Altus Informationssysteme GmbH, in Waghäusel, Germany since 1994.
- CEO of Altus Systems Automation Corporation, Inc , in Miami, USA, since 1995.
- President of the Board of Directors of Altus Participações S.A. since 1993.
- At Altus, his activities range from developing new products to designing all corporate areas and foundation of the companies in Germany, United States and Argentina, more focused on company's administrative marketing activities.
- President of the Board of Directors of the Quality and Productivity Program of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (PGQP) since 2008.
- Vice-president of CIERGS, holding the position of Coordinator of the Board of Innovation and Technology (CITEC) of the organization since 2006.
- Member of the Board of Education of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
- Member of the Boards of Caixa - RS and of CVI, a company that distributes Coca-Cola in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul.

- Technician in charge of all engineering projects of Altus.
- Coordinator and creator of all products developed by Altus, such as: Programmable Controllers, CP Programming Software, Human-Machine Interfaces and Communication Networks.
- Regional Director of the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (ABINEE-RS).
- Director of the Center of Industries of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (CIERGS).
