After 45 days, P-67 arrives at Baia de Guanabara

The P-67, one of Petrobras` platforms automated by Altus, arrived in Guanabara Bay last Wednesday (18). Built and commissioned at the COOEC Shipyard in Shandong, China, the FPSOs (Floating Storage and Transfer Unit) was towed by the Boka Vanguard for 45 days until it reached Rio de Janeiro / RJ. After undergoing all commissioning tests, the platform will continue to the Santos Basin, where it will be installed in the Lula Norte field.

At 353,000 tons, 288 meters long, 54 meters wide and 31 meters high, the P-67 can produce 150,000 barrels of oil and six million cubic meters of natural gas per day. This is basically the same capacity of P-58 and P-66, two of the most productive units in Brazil and also operate based on our Oil and Gas solutions. According to ANP (National Petroleum Agency) the two units represent about 15% of all the oil extracted in the Pre-salt fields.
