This week, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP)<\/a><\/b> released data on Brazilian oil and gas production in April. According to the entity, daily national production reached 3.738 million barrels of oil equivalent<\/u>, of which 2.958 million barrels were oil and 124 million cubic meters were natural gas. Of this total, 69.5% came from the 113 wells in the pre-salt area<\/u>, an 4.2% increase<\/b> over the previous month.<\/p>\n

The largest producing field<\/u> in Brazil is Lula<\/b>, in the Santos Basin<\/b>, from which 1.033 million barrels of oil and 45.7 million cubic meters of natural gas<\/u> were produced per day. P-69<\/a><\/b>, the third most productive unit<\/u> among all in the period, reached a production of 146.7 thousand barrels of oil and 5.2 million cubic meters of natural gas<\/a> per day. The FPSO, which operates in the southern end of the field, has its Hull (hull) and Top-side systems developed and implemented by the Altus engineering team<\/b>.<\/p>\n

P-66<\/a><\/b>, another automated unit with Altus products and engineering intelligence<\/u>, also operates in the region and is among the Top 10 most productive platforms in the period<\/b>. With the capacity to process 150 thousand barrels of oil daily and compress 6 million m3 of gas, the platform reached a productivity of 122.5 thousand barrels of oil and 5.8 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.<\/p>\n

In addition to these two platforms, Altus technology is also responsible for controlling the Hull and Top-side systems of three other FPSOs operating in the Pre-salt: P-58<\/b>, P-67<\/b> and P-68<\/b>. Together, these units are responsible for producing more than 246.1 thousand barrels of oil and 7.2 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.<\/p>\n

Five of the 20 most productive platforms in the country use Altus technology.<\/p>\n

34% of all oil explored in the Pre-salt was produced with Altus technology (index referring to 2019).<\/p>\n
