Even with a challenging scenario resulting from the changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, Petrobras<\/a><\/b> continues to record new historic records for oil and natural gas production<\/u>. In 2020, the company achieved total annual production of 2.28 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil and 2.84 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed)<\/u>. The previous records occurred in 2015 and were 2.23 million bpd of oil and 2.79 million boed.<\/p>\n

During the period, pre-salt production reached a total of 1.86 million boed<\/u>, which represents 66% of Petrobras' overall result<\/b>. Present in several Exploration & Production <\/a><\/b> of the company, Altus technology is directly linked to this high level of performance. The products developed by our R&D<\/b> and the system integration solutions<\/u> implemented by our Engineering team are responsible for the control and supervision of vital systems for the operation of important FPSOs<\/u> installed in the region, such as the platform P-70, which recently had its production process started<\/a> in the shared Atapu deposit, eastern portion of the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, close to the B\u00fazios field.<\/p>\n

In addition to highlighting its pride in helping to write another chapter in the history of the national O&G industry<\/u>, Altus congratulates Petrobras and all its employees and partners for this memorable result!<\/p>\n

Altus technology in the Pre-salt<\/h3>\n

In July last year, the Pre-salt already accounted for almost <a href="https:\/\/www.altus.com.br\/post\/336\/pre-sal-ja-responde-por-quase- 70% of national oil production<\/a><\/b>, according to data released by National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP)<\/a><\/b>. At the time, P-66<\/a><\/b> and P-69<\/a><\/b>, two of the automated units with Altus products and engineering intelligence, already were among the Top 10 most productive platforms in the period<\/u>. In addition to these two units and the aforementioned P-70, Altus technology is also responsible for controlling the Hull and Top-side systems<\/u> of three other FPSOs that operate in the Pre-salt: P -58<\/b>, P-67<\/b> and P-68<\/b>. Together, these units are responsible for producing more than 246,100 barrels of oil and 7.2 million cubic meters of natural gas per day<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Some figures about Altus and the O&G market<\/h3>\n

Five of the 20 most productive platforms in the country use Altus technology.<\/p>\n

34% of all oil explored in the Pre-salt was produced with Altus technology (index referring to 2019).<\/p>\n

By 2025, Altus technology<\/u> will be present in 25% of the units<\/b> and 1\/3 of the FPSOs<\/b> in operation in Brazil, which represents 5% of the global FPSO market<\/u>.<\/p>\n
