Local partnership and differences of CLP Nexto Xpress<\/h2>\n

The system developed and implemented by Giga Automa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b>, an integrator certified by INTEGRA \u2013 Altus Integrators Certification Program<\/a><\/b>, uses the CLP XP325<\/b> technology, one of the most advanced models in the Nexto Xpress family of programmable controllers, to monitor the process variables and command<\/u>, through the Modbus TCP\/IP<\/b> protocol, the soft starter responsible for activating the 3 pumps used in the architecture<\/u>, one of 15hp and two 7.5hp. In this application, the Xpress controller was inserted as a client for the field devices that are part of the pump control process and as a PLC server responsible for commanding the control system for the entire unit.<\/p>\n

\"PanelThe ability to act as a MODBUS client and server at the same time<\/u> allows Nexto products Xpress are installed on a network that already has another PLC acting as a client, without interfering with the existing structure. This factor, combined with its multiprotocol Ethernet interface<\/b>, which allows the XP325 to communicate in different protocols simultaneously<\/u>, were the differences that made it the solution chosen for this application.<\/p>\n

Economy and availability with Altus technology<\/h3>\n

In this project, the PLC Xpress also operates in communication between the supply unit and the dealership's control center<\/u>. In this way, the application allows company operators to activate the unit's pumps and monitor process variables, such as water level in the reservoir, elevation and pressure in the supply network, directly from the control center. The new system allows greater control over the activation, measurement, remote monitoring and transmission of real-time information from the subprocesses of water collection, treatment and distribution.
