Between May 1st and 4th<\/b> our International Sales and Marketing team will be in the United States participating in Offshore Technology Conference<\/a>. For more than 50 years on the world events agenda, the fair takes place annually in the city of Houston, Texas, and brings together the main players and suppliers of global Oil & Gas market<\/a>. As one of the main developers of technology for exploration and production<\/b> in Brazil, Altus could not fail to participate in this moment.<\/p>\n

Currently, our products are responsible for 35% of all Brazilian O&G production<\/b>; 1\/3 of FPSOs and one in four E&P units operating in the country use Altus control and automation technology. These are impressive numbers for a company that operates in one of the 10 countries that produce the most oil in the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Security and high availability for the E&P process<\/h2>\n

Visitors who pass by the Altus space at the fair will be able to check out our most advanced control and automation solutions for onshore and offshore processes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year, the main highlight will be the new features designed for Nexto Series PLCs<\/a>, products used in the main FPSOs operating in Brazil, such as the replicating units of Petrobras<\/a>installed in Pre-salt<\/b> exploration fields. With high processing speed, advanced real-time diagnostics and support network redundancy<\/a>, Nexto programmable controllers deliver security and high availability for critical and highly complex processes, such as those found in Top-side<\/b>, Hull<\/b> and CSS<\/b> systems in the offshore market.<\/p>\n

Totalmente aderente ao universo IoT, a CPU tem capacidade de
\r\nescrita direta em banco de dados SQL<\/a> e intera\u00e7\u00e3o direta com os servi\u00e7os de
\r\nhospedagem na nuvem mais relevantes do mercado, como Microsoft Azure<\/b>, IBM
\r\nCloud<\/b>, Google One<\/b> e Amazon AWS<\/b>. Ela ainda possui com diferencial
\r\npresente em poucos CLPs do mercado: a unidade conta com WebServer embarcado<\/a>,
\r\nferramenta que permite a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de telas de supervis\u00e3o e monitoramento de
\r\naplica\u00e7\u00e3o sem a necessidade de usar um sistema SCADA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another differentiating resource present in the unit is Embedded VPN<\/a>, which creates a private connection tunnel directly to the CPU. This functionality allows you to access your business's control network remotely and completely securely. To further increase product security, the CPU has a firewall feature<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The new Altus CPU also supports FTP<\/b> type connections, which enables the device to exchange data with a server that uses this technology model. This functionality allows data packages generated by the controller, such as logs collected through a datalogger function, to be accessed remotely.<\/p>\n

Another new feature available is its Docker<\/b>embedded platform*. The resource, native to the CPU, makes it possible to virtualize software developed for operating systems with Unix technology<\/b>. The feature gives more versatility and speed to the system's operation, as it allows the processing of multiple data within the CPU itself.<\/p>\n

In addition to the robust Nexto Series products, we will also present to the public present the Nexto Xpress solution for IoT ready PLCs<\/a>. With different onboard communication interfaces and support for a wide variety of communication protocols, Altus' compact controllers<\/span> can be used as IoT gateways for small applications in the onshore market<\/a>. Among its many 4.0 functionalities, Xpress products can, for example, collect production data from the field application through a MODBUS TCP network and send it via OPC UA or MQTT to a supervisory system hosted in the cloud.<\/p>\n

Speaking of communication, the product has Ethernet interfaces,
\nSerial RS 485, CAN and USB onboard, enabling support for a variety of
\nlist of communication protocols, such as MODBUS TCP and RTU, PROFINET, CANopen and
\nJ-1939, IEC 60870-5-104, EtherNet\/IP, EtherCAT, OPC DA, OPC UA and MQTT. The resources
\nthey also allow the controller to communicate directly with the main services
\ncloud hosting on the market. The XP340<\/b> model, like the NX3008 CPU, still supports
\nWebServer.<\/p>\n

Xpress products, like other equipment in the Nexto Series, use the programming software MasterTool IEC weight: 700;\">CODESYS <\/span>with scalability for micro to large projects (free up to 320 I\/O points).
