As a company with global operations, Altus seeks to increase its share of the industrial market in different territories. To strengthen its brand in the Middle East<\/b>, one of the regions with the highest rate of investment in technology today, Altus will participate in\u00a0ADEPIC<\/a>, one of the largest energy events in the world.<\/p>\n

Held in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, between October 2nd and 5th<\/b>, the fair will address some of the sector's main challenges for the coming years, such as advancing decarbonization and preparing the energy system for the future.<\/p>\n

Security and high availability for the E&P process<\/h2>\n

Visitors to the Altus stand at the fair will be able to see our most advanced control and automation<\/span> solutions for\u00a0onshore\u00a0<\/span> and\u00a0offshore<\/span> processes.<\/p>\n

This year, the main highlight will be the new developments designed for the\u00a0Nexto Series PLCs<\/a>, products used in the main FPSOs in operation in Brazil, such as the replicating units of\u00a0Petrobras\u00a0<\/a> installed in the\u00a0Pre-salt<\/span> exploration fields. With high processing speed, advanced real-time diagnostics and support for\u00a0network redundancy<\/a>, Nexto programmable controllers deliver safety and high availability for critical and highly complex processes, such as those found in\u00a0Top-side<\/span>,\u00a0Hull\u00a0<\/span> and\u00a0CSS\u00a0<\/span> systems in the offshore market.<\/p>\n

\"AnelOne \u200b\u200bof the highlights of the fair will be the\u00a0NX3008, new CPU from Nexto Series<\/a>, a global product with advanced software features and\u00a0cybersecurity<\/a>\u00a0capable of\u00a0dynamically integrating the IT and TA areas of an industry<\/a>. Created to meet the demands of an increasingly connected industry, the NX3008 CPU has a wide variety of\u00a0communication interfaces<\/span>\u00a0capable of connecting the equipment to the most different systems and machines on the market. The new control device of the Nexto Series has 03 ports\u00a0Gigabit Ethernet<\/a>, with 02 supporting the PROFINET Controller<\/span> communication protocol, which allows the controller to be used in a network with MRP ring<\/span> architecture. Totalmente aderente ao universo IoT, a CPU tem capacidade de\u00a0SQL databases<\/a>\u00a0e intera\u00e7\u00e3o direta com os servi\u00e7os de hospedagem na nuvem mais relevantes do mercado, como\u00a0Microsoft Azure<\/span>,\u00a0IBM Cloud<\/span>,\u00a0Google One<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Amazon AWS<\/span>. Ela ainda possui com diferencial presente em poucos CLPs do mercado: a unidade conta com\u00a0WebServer embarcado<\/a>, ferramenta que permite a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de telas de supervis\u00e3o e monitoramento de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o sem a necessidade de usar um\u00a0sistema SCADA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another key differentiator is the\u00a0Embedded VPN<\/a>, o que cria um t\u00fanel privado de conex\u00e3o direto com a CPU. Essa funcionalidade permite que voc\u00ea acesse a rede de controle do seu neg\u00f3cio de forma remota e completamente segura. Para aumentar ainda mais seguran\u00e7a do produto, a CPU possui um\u00a0recurso de firewall<\/span>.<\/p>\n

A nova CPU da Altus tamb\u00e9m conta com suporte a conex\u00f5es do tipo\u00a0FTP<\/span>, o que habilita o dispositivo a trocar dados com um servidor que utilize este modelo de tecnologia. Essa funcionalidade permite que os pacotes de dados gerados pelo controlador, como\u00a0logs\u00a0<\/span>coletados atrav\u00e9s de uma\u00a0fun\u00e7\u00e3o datalogger<\/a>, sejam acessados \u00e0 dist\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n

Outra nova funcionalidade dispon\u00edvel \u00e9 sua plataforma\u00a0Docker\u00a0<\/span>embarcada*. O recurso, nativo na CPU, torna poss\u00edvel a virtualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de softwares desenvolvidos para sistemas operacionais com\u00a0tecnologia Unix<\/span>. O recurso d\u00e1 mais versatilidade e velocidade a opera\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema, pois permite o processamento de m\u00faltiplos dados dentro da pr\u00f3pria CPU.<\/p>\n

In addition to the robust Nexto Series products, we will also present to the public present the Nexto Xpress solution for IoT ready PLCs<\/a>. With different onboard communication interfaces and support for a wide variety of communication protocols, Altus' compact controllers<\/span> can be used as IoT gateways for small applications in the onshore market<\/a>. Among its many 4.0 functionalities, Xpress products can, for example, collect production data from the field application through a MODBUS TCP network and send it via OPC UA or MQTT to a supervisory system hosted in the cloud.<\/p>\n

Falando em comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, o produto conta com interfaces Ethernet, Serial RS 485, CAN e USB embarcadas, possibilitando o suporte a uma variada lista de protocolos de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, como MODBUS TCP e RTU, PROFINET, CANopen e J-1939, IEC 60870-5-104, EtherNet\/IP, EtherCAT, OPC DA, OPC UA e MQTT. Os recursos tamb\u00e9m permitem ao controlador comunicar diretamente com os principais servi\u00e7os de hospedagem na nuvem do mercado.
