Altus Programmable Controllers Achieve EAC Certification

Altus Programmable Controllers Achieve EAC Certification

Keeping its path of constant evolution and seeking to make its mix of products offerings even better, Altus has just achieved the EAC Certification for Nexto and Ponto series of programmable controllers. Since the first half of this month, the equipments are listed as items in conformity with low voltage and electromagnetic compatibility directives stated on TR004 and TR020 (EAC Technical Regulations), respectively. The certification is a requirement for commercialization of products in countries such as Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The EAC certification reinforces Altus intensions of expansion to new markets and segments, emphasizing the worldwide presence of the brand, fortifying its commitment to supplying quality products, as well as complete solutions. The new certification joins various other conquests of the company, such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas) certifications, which enable the company to look for new sales channels overseas, widening its network of partners worldwide, as well as improving its exports significantly.
