Versatility and high performance for GTD applications

Options of:
High-speed data collection and communication
The Nexto family of CPUs are preemptive and multitasking, built to handle the most complex applications in the electrical energy market. With powerful 32- or 64-bit RISC PowerPC and ARM processors, these devices deliver high performance while keeping energy consumption low, eliminating the need for moving parts and contributing to a higher MTBF.
Nexto System RTUs can execute over 145,000 Boolean instructions or up to 500 PID loops per millisecond, handle complex arithmetic calculations, and manage advanced control functions crucial for fully automating industrial machines and processes.

Exceptional Robustness and Performance with HX Series RTUs
Built according to international standards like IEC 61850 and IEC 61131-3, the HX Series Remote Terminal Units are ideal for managing generation, transmission, and distribution processes in electrical energy. The products in this line offer key features such as power supply redundancy, CPU redundancy within a single rack, DNP3 and IEC 61850 (MMS and GOOSE) protocols, and compliance with ONS submodule 2.7.
With a rugged design, HX RTUs are suitable for environments with mechanical vibrations and extended operating temperatures. This series is also built for power plants, substations, and other facilities near large electrical devices, meeting high standards for immunity to electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic interference, common in these settings.

High performance and local processing power with the NX3008
Beyond the robustness of the HX Series for large-scale energy systems, the Nexto System also offers compact, versatile products designed to boost data processing in smaller installations.
For applications that require high connectivity and local data processing, Altus presents the NX3008 CPU, part of the NX Series, which supports the IEC 60870-5-104 Server protocol. This protocol, widely used in the electrical sector, provides a communication profile for supervisory control and data acquisition between energy systems.
This functionality allows the CPU to serve as a Remote Terminal Unit, collecting and transmitting data from energy systems and logging events in industries or small hydropower plants (SHPs).

Agility and versatility for small power applications with the XP340 CPU
To round out its RTU offerings, Altus also provides the XP340, an IoT-ready PLC from the XP Series of compact controllers.
Like the NX3008 CPU, the XP340 supports the IEC 60870-5-104 Server protocol, allowing it to function as a mini RTU for small industrial and building automation applications.
Combining this feature with the built-in Web Server gives you a complete solution for local control and supervision of electrical systems, as it enables the creation of monitoring screens without needing SCADA software.
