A Altus forneceu a tecnologia de automação para o desenvolvimento do novo Sistema Digital de Controle da planta de extração de Manganês da Urucum Mineração, localizada em Cuiabá.

Urucum Mining DCS for Production Plant

A solução aplicada pela Altus tem como objetivo mensurar e quantificar com precisão todo o volume e massa de água utilizados no processo de beneficiamento de minério da VALE – Urucum Mineração.

Dentro dessa abordagem, o novo sistema foi projetado para centralizar todas as informações relacionadas ao uso de recursos hídricos e ao beneficiamento do minério, proporcionando maior controle, gestão e eficiência no consumo de água.

Foi realizada a instrumentação da área, onde foram utilizados rádios de comunicação Motorola para a interligação em ethernet dos pontos de medição até o supervisório indusoft web studio.

Scope of the Solution Provided by Altus

The solution provided by Altus covers a wide range of essential equipment and services. It includes a Programmable Controller with the capacity for 512 input/output points, 128k of flash memory, housed in an electrical cabinet. The scope also covers the design and specification of the Programmable Controller panel, along with the MasterTool programming software license.
