The high quality of Nexto products continues to win the favor of the international industry and take Brazilian technology to the most different countries. After debuting on African soil, automating a water treatment plant in Cameroon, now, the Series lands on British territory at the hands of Beijer, our partner in Europe. The controllers produced by Altus will operate in an intelligent production line from a traditional frequency inverter manufacturer.
The Nexto Series was chosen for this demand because it uses the CODESYS technology and support a wide variety of communication protocols, including proprietary ones – such as the one used by the company. Altus PLCs will control the testing stage of inverter lines that communicate via Modbus RTU or Ethercat protocols. While the Modbus line uses the agile and versatile NX3004, a CPU with an integrated source and high data storage capacity, the EtherCAT line tests will be carried out by the powerful NX3020, a model with high processing capacity and advanced real-time diagnostics.
As it is based on the concept of manufacturing cells, this application can be scaled and new production plants with the same characteristics can be installed anywhere in the world. The first unit to come into operation is on British soil and dozens of systems are expected to be installed by the end of this year.
The strength of partnerships
In addition to Beijer, our commercial partner in Europe and North America, we recently gained two more allies in the mission to expand the reach of Altus technology around the world. Officially recognized as commercial partners of the company, the companies Messung and Crevis they will be Altus' right arm on the Asian continent, operating, respectively, in the territories of India and South Korea.
Our international sales team continues to work hard to further expand this cooperation network, allowing Altus solutions to continue reaching new markets and continue to collaborate with the performance of different businesses.
