Everyone has someone in their family who stands out because they are not the same, but
que é tão amado quanto qualquer outro membro da família, certo?! In the Nexto family it couldn't be any different. After launching a sequence of products
modular, Altus' most advanced line of programmable controllers now
welcomes with open arms the Nexto Xpress, first monoblock with integrated I/O of the series. Aimed at the markets machines and small processes, the new platform
technology arrives as a complete solution for the most modern applications,
delivering performance and high connectivity common excellent value for money
to the demands of Industry 4.0.
The new member of the Nexto dynasty brings three model options
which differ in number of points: integrated I/O capabilities, XP315 and
XP325. Everyone has 16 digital inputs, 16 transistor digital outputs, one Ethernet port and one Serial port
RS-485 standard, however, the XP315 version still has 2 inputs
two- and three-wire RTD analog inputs and 5 analog inputs for voltage and
current. The XP325, the most complete model in the line, has all these
additional features of 4 analog outputs and CANOpen Master connection.
Created to operate in the IoT universe
Designed to meet the demands of highly connected environments, the solution features support a wide variety of communication protocols, which allows you to interact with smart devices such as media converters, barcode readers, wireless communication modems and data storage devices. In addition to protocols based on Ethernet, such as MODBUS TCP Client/Server, OPC DA and OPC UA, Xpress products also have a USB communication interface and the MODBUS RTU and CANOpen standards.
Perfect for small applications
With compact design (212.5 x 90.1 x 32, 2 mm) and 24 Vdc power supply, the Xpress solution is ideal for the onboard control of small machines and applications. Its 32-bit ARM processor, combined with the real-time clock (RTC) and the high density of multi-purpose digital and analog I/O points (voltage, current and temperature) give the solution a high processing capacity, precision and agilityin data acquisition. These characteristics make the equipment the perfect solution to provide more speed and economy in the control of the most varied machines on the market, such as labeling machines, blowers, washers, injectors, baggers, grinders, presses, among others.
The products in the line also have digital outputs with support for 1.5 A per channel (12 A maximum) and analog inputs with 12-bit resolution and updating all channels in less than a millisecond, one of the fastest on the market. This profusion of resources gives the platform the ability to control slightly larger systems, such as those found in projects in the automation segments. building and sanitation. The precision in controlling variables allows Nexto Xpress to work both in pumping stations and reservoir level control, as well as in lighting and air conditioning control, process supervision, conveyors and access control.
Legacy features
Like the other members of the Nexto family, Xpress equipment operates through the technological platform CODESYS and are configured via MasterTool IEC XE, software FREE series programming solution with scalability for micro to large projects. The equipment also has LEDs for status indication and diagnostics, DIN rail mounting and removable connectors.
