To strengthen the brand's image and seek new business in the Latin American market, Altus will go to Medellín, Colombia, to participate in 2022 edition of FISE. The largest energy market fair in the region, the event takes place between April 5th and 7th and focuses on the energy generation, distribution and transmission segments. In our first direct participation at the event, we will present the latest in control and connectivity for IoT applications from our main product lines.
Altus' flagship at the fair will be IoT ready PLCs Nexto Xpress. With different onboard communication interfaces and support for a wide variety of communication protocols, Altus' compact controllers have the ability to be used as IoT gateways for small applications. Among its many 4.0 functionalities, Xpress products can, for example, collect production data from the field application over a MODBUS TCP network and send it via OPC UA or MQTT for a supervisory system hosted in the cloud.

With high processing speed, advanced real-time diagnostics and support for network redundancy, Nexto programmable controllers deliver security and high availability, and can be used to acquire and transmit signals between generating units and other devices that are part of the application. .
In addition to programmable controllers, we will also demonstrate the robustness of Hadron UTRs. Xtorm, products used in the main hydroelectric plants in Brazil. Aimed at Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electrical energy, the series has outstanding features, such as redundancy of power supplies, redundancy of CPUs in a rack and protocols such as DNP3 and IEC 61850 (MMS and GOOSE).
