Altus signs agreement with Crevis to distribute Nexto technology in South Korea

Once again, Altus goes beyond borders and extends its reach into new territories. After signing the agreement for the distribution of programmable controllers from Nexto Series programmable controllers In India, the company is now formalizing a new partnership to increase the insertion of Brazilian technology in the Asian continent. As of 2018, the Crevis, a South Korean manufacturer specializing in the development of equipment for industrial networks and distributed systems, will be Altus' strong arm in the South Korean market.

The largest supplier of I/Os in the region, Crevis has a strong presence in distributed automation systems in the machinery, infrastructure, sanitation, automotive and transformation industry segments. With the addition of Nexto to its product portfolio, the company now has a redundancy and high availability alternative, providing the company with the ability to offer complete solutions for highly complex applications. Furthermore, since last year, the programmable controllers of the Nexto family now have the DNV-GL certificate, which allows its use in applications in the maritime market, a segment in which Crevis has greater breadth and visibility.

In November, Felipe Zanon, one of the experts from Altus' R&D team, was in South Korea to provide technical training to a team of Crevis professionals and clients, at the company's headquarters. In addition to improving their knowledge of technology and being qualified in the basic programming, operation and maintenance of Nexto products, participants also received advanced training to use redundancy resources and Nexto Safety equipment, the series' functional safety solution.
