The NX series features One Touch Diagnostic (OTD), accessible via a quick diagnostic button available on all family modules. This functionality provides users with advanced system information, such as short circuits on output points, IP addresses, alphanumeric tags, and more, enabling faster commissioning and more accurate maintenance. When paired with Electronic Tag on Display (ETD), users can view I/O module tags directly on the CPU’s graphic display.
For applications where downtime is not an option—such as Oil & Gas, Sugar & Ethanol, Steel, and other industries—the NX series offers CPU redundancy, a feature that virtually eliminates the need for system shutdowns during maintenance. Available in the NX3030 model, this feature enables hot standby configurations, where two CPUs are deployed—one active and controlling the system, while the other is on standby. Should the primary CPU fail, the standby unit automatically takes over, ensuring uninterrupted operations with no intervention needed from the operator.

With a response time of 4 ms per cycle, the NX3003 is the best performing solution for the machinery market. The module has four fast inputs for encoder reading (unidirectional, bidirectional and quadrature) and four fast outputs for stepper motor control (PTO/PWM).

The NX4000 module allows I/O modules to be easily distributed in the field, and can be used both as local I/O points (located next to the CPU module) and as remote I/O points, without any loss in performance.
