Protection panels for substations and power plants

Altus protection panels are designed for use in medium- and high-voltage distribution substations, as well as power generation substations. These panels house protection relays in various models, including fast-acting relays for high-speed operations such as breaker and disconnector switching, along with accessories for operating the protection system.

A typical electrical panel includes an internal door for mounting 19" rack equipment and a front polycarbonate door for easy visibility of components. Altus panels also come with test switches or blocks on the internal swing door for equipment calibration.

Hybrid panels for multipurpose projects

The Quasar Series also offers hybrid panels, designed to house equipment serving multiple purposes, covering command, control, and power systems.

These panels are often used in industrial processes that do not require complex control systems. They are built with both automation and power control features, customized according to the specific application.

Like the automation models, Altus hybrid panels are developed in full compliance with NR-10 guidelines.

Robustness with Excellent Cost-Effectiveness in Low Voltage Panels

Low voltage panels are responsible for power drives, whether for lighting, motors, or the distribution of DC and AC power. This type of panel can include frequency inverters, soft starters, circuit breakers, and multi-meters, which, together with the automation system, bring intelligence to the production process. Altus products deliver robustness and excellent cost-effectiveness for low voltage applications, compatible with tested (TTA) or non-compartmentalized lines. Some of the panel types offered include Power Distribution Panels (QGBT), Motor Control Centers (MCC), lighting, local control, power factor correction, and measurement panels.
