After 45 days, P-67 arrives at Baia de Guanabara

The P-67, one of the platforms of the Petrobras automated by Altus, arrived in Guanabara Bay last Wednesday (18). Built and commissioned at the COOEC Shipyard in Shandong, China, the FPSOs (acronym in English for Floating Storage and Transfer Unit) were towed by the ship Boka Vanguard for 45 days until arriving in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. After passing all commissioning tests, the platform will proceed to the Santos Basin, where it will be installed in the Lula Norte field.

With 353 thousand tons, 288 meters long, 54 meters wide and 31 meters high, the P-67 can produce 150 thousand barrels of oil and six million cubic meters of natural gas per day. This is basically the same capacity as P-58 and P-66, two of the most productive units in Brazil and which also operate based on our Oil and Gas solutions. According to data from NAP (National Petroleum Agency), together, the two units represent around 15% of all oil extracted in the Pre-salt fields.
